In the Explore Zone you will find 6 themed areas: nutrition, health, living, working and leisure, life, materials / energy & IT.

What are you eating tomorrow? What does your food consist of and where does it come from? How do we ensure that there is enough food for the growing world population? And what is the effect on our world?

Your body is a wonderful machine. Find out what you look like inside and what’s going on there. With science and technology we can detect diseased cells, make organs better, operate remotely and see through your skin.

Materials, energy & IT. A robot that cleans up your shoes? Internet in your shirt to measure whether you are healthy? Cars with solar panels? They seem like images from the future, but we deal with technology and energy every day.

MMEK’ is responsible for the concept and design, while Heijmerink Wagemakers was responsible for the project management, engineering and realization of the center.
